на бульваре Малешерб в Париже

Характерная черта работы дизайнеров — умение работать на стыке
 разных стилей  и эпох. Дизайнеры не гонятся за яркими цветами, а из
 материалов  предпочитают  тонированное  дерево, гипс, кожу, а также
 исключительно натуральные ткани  сдержанных оттенков для обивки.

The successful duo that run the architecture & design practice Gilles & Boissier

 are definitely no strangers to anyone involved in anything remotely close to high-end design.

 Patrick Gilles & Dorothee Boissier who are partners, both at work and play, turned our heads

 when they announced the completion of their 19th century renovated apartment, situated on

 Boulevard Malesherbes in Paris, France. This 300sqm residence is the creation of their

 perfect home, which of course brings great joy to all of us looking at the outcome.

 Интерьеру выдержан в сдержанной цветовой гамме : 

отсутствуют яркие цветовые пятна , белый цвет доминирует во всем доме,

 и только в гостиной немного разбавлен серыми оттенками.

Большинство предметов мебели дизайнеры спроектировали сами.

 Зеркала, обеденный стол, навесные шкафчики, и другая мебель в доме

 изготовлена по авторским эскизам в студии Gilles & Boissier

 или делалась на заказ

The shell interior itself is truly magical, consisting of high ceilings, large open spaces, French windows and classical moldings bringing the essence of classical living in the foreground. This apartment is a joy where 19th c. architecture coincides with a 21st c. lifestyle. It was essential for the couple’s two children to be able to run astray within the home whilst at the same time respecting the history surrounding them. Great care was taken to retain the original woodwork and paneling throughout, which were then painted off-white creating a stark but soft and calm shell. The whole structure is revolved around the library, which creates this feeling of vast liberty. The sole colour shade present in the living room is the introduction of a grey palette giving a warmer and cosier feel to the space.
