Two-stage work by Kyiv-based Intemporary Design Studio on a flat in the historical centre of Kyiv called `Decoding'. The first stage consisted of a complex reconstruction with demolition of walls, replacement of ceilings, construction of a new facade and a roof over the loggia, as a result of which the area of the flat was increased from 198 square metres to 288, as the owner wanted to live in a flat similar to a country house and have his own open terrace. wanted to live in a flat similar to a country house and have his own outdoor terrace in the city centre. The second stage took place three years later - the owner of the flat, a collector of contemporary art, proposed a complete renovation of the interior and a radical change in its classic atmosphere, but without radical intervention.
Alexandrine Lukach:

During the implementation of the project, most of the furniture, including soft, all wooden stitches, cabinets, stone products and even carpets are produced according to the individual design of the studio withing Ukraine
Intemporary Design Studiо :
"There are no unimportant things in this project. Despite the difference in execution technique, size and function, only together they work as a perfectly honed mechanism. In one interior transformation it was possible to unite an unprecedented number of collectibles from Ukrainian masters. And although it is an absolutely residential interior, it is already called the first gallery of modern collectible design in Ukraine".
