Men Bureau:

"Our customers turned to us with the desire to make this house a place where you can hide from the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior should create a slower rhythm and harmonize with the environment. Careful planning of premises, their volumes, degree of illumination. The creaking of steps on wood and soft stomping on hard stone... We focused on these simple tools, focusing on what already exists and what can be improved.

The house is surrounded by a unique landscape. The main need of the owners now became a combination with nature. This also became a major design objective as well. A large amount of natural light in each room creates a spacious atmosphere. Each room is picturesque in its own way, but they are all connected to each other.

To create a timeless design, we prefer natural materials and details that form the basis of each project. "Bardot" armchairs from Baxter and "Ghost 20" from Gervasoni are just the details that make the design timeless. The 'Bocci 57' lamp in the living room and the 'Zeppelin' pendant light by Flos in the bedroom were used mainly for decorative purposes, with recessed ceiling lights throughout the house providing functional lighting.

The owner of the house has works of art from almost all countries, including our Ukrainian works by the Faina studio. On the shelves in the living room, we see the contrast between raw and glazed ceramics as a distinctive feature of the wabi-sabi style. All these things have a certain roughness, simplicity and originality, which makes them unique due to their imperfection. The abstract painting above the fireplace was created by the American artist Ricky Hunt.

We've deliberately avoided any distracting electronics in the living room. In the interior of the house, much attention is paid to natural materials and textures. The flooring is made of European oak and has been carefully finished and stained.

The Brutus chair, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen, is made of lightweight fiber concrete, which creates a unique surface texture and emphasizes a wonderful balance between soft architectural lines and curves. Column Sconce lamps made of tinted oak are made by the New York design studio WorkOf."
