Subtle art, sophisticated design, timeless elegance and breathtaking views in this impressive project !

Veronique Cotrel Studio:

"Located next to the Eiffel Tower, this apartment has a speciality: it is located in a rotunda. The living room is thus flooded with natural light throughout the day. The kitchen had to match this subtle and elegant image. The dining room thus acts as a link between the two spaces. The distinction is reinforced by the rounded wooden windows we designed.

The windows are made of walnut veneer and lacquered. This species of wood, often used in hardware, is used for the kitchen fronts we wanted to measure. This option gives us all the freedom to create a kitchen that is not alone! Fully integrated materials harmonise with the décor. The centre island is highlighted by this curved detail and the airy walnut worktop.

This project has been the subject of very significant restoration work. All the floors and the heating system were replaced. The advantage of this extensive work was the rethinking of the entire organisation of the space. Allowing the kitchen to be rearranged in this way makes everyday life more comfortable and ergonomic.

Ergonomics is the starting point for all our projects. Indeed, the first discussions are always about the lifestyles and needs that make up the specifications. The formation of style is slower: it comes from learning from our clients, exchanges, conversations. This learning is the main characteristic of our work as residential interior designers: it is above all a relational work. We can't just apply a style, we have to ‘instil’ expectations, shape them and embody them in the project."
